Quick answer. Cold tyres, the PSI or bar from the door sticker, a gauge at a petrol station. Do not use the number on the tyre sidewall as the everyday target.

The big number on the tyre is the maximum, not the recommended daily pressure.

MarketPalace Guide Center writes this as a solution walkthrough — the order we would use if we were in the room with you. We name the next click, then what to do if that click fails. We do not sell the TV, the kettle, or the plane ticket.

If a menu name on your set or phone does not match, use the closest wording and email hello@marketpalace.shop. We correct live pages when the path has moved.

What you need

  • Gauge or garage air machine
  • The sticker in the driver's door frame

1. Check when the car has been parked at least an hour

Hot tyres read high.

2. Read the door-jamb sticker

It lists front and rear. That is your target.

3. Unscrew the cap, press the gauge straight on, add or bleed air

Replace the cap.

4. Include the spare if you have one

A flat spare is a brick.

If it still fails

  • This is basic ownership, not a mechanic's inspection. Cuts in the sidewall are a stop-driving issue.

When you are done, browse more in Car & Commute or search the Guide Center for the next job on your list. A neighbour problem — a remote, a bill, a suitcase — has its own walkthrough.
