Quick answer. Same Wi-Fi, then Cast on Android or AirPlay / Screen Mirroring on iPhone. Cast video; do not mirror unless you must.

The TV never appears in the list when the phone is on LTE or a different SSID.

MarketPalace Guide Center writes this as a solution walkthrough — the order we would use if we were in the room with you. We name the next click, then what to do if that click fails. We do not sell the TV, the kettle, or the plane ticket.

If a menu name on your set or phone does not match, use the closest wording and email hello@marketpalace.shop. We correct live pages when the path has moved.

What you need

  • Same Wi-Fi on phone and TV

1. Confirm both devices share one Wi-Fi name

Turn phone mobile data off briefly so it cannot hide on LTE.

2. Android: Cast or Smart View

Swipe down → Cast. Inside YouTube, use the Cast icon instead of full-screen mirror.

3. iPhone: Control Center → Screen Mirroring

Pick the TV. For Netflix, prefer the TV’s own app and use the phone as a remote.

4. Disconnect when you finish

Mirroring shows notifications on the big screen and drains the battery.

If it still fails

  • Hotel Wi-Fi blocks casting. Use HDMI.
  • A VPN on the phone hides the TV.

When you are done, browse more in TV & Living Room or search the Guide Center for the next job on your list. A neighbour problem — a remote, a bill, a suitcase — has its own walkthrough.

Common questions

Cast or mirror?

Cast sends the film. Mirror sends your whole screen including messages.
