Pick a person and a duration.
2. WhatsApp chat → + → Location → Share live location
Choose 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours — not forever if you can avoid it.
3. iPhone Find My can share with family
Stop sharing when the trip ends.
4. Confirm they can see you, then lock the phone
If it still fails
- Do not share live location into a large group chat.
